Yours. Maintenance means working in the stack your system is already built with, whether that is PHP, .NET, Java, Python, Node.js or something less common. We are not tied to one technology, and if a component should eventually be replaced, we will recommend the right technology for your project and explain why.
Yes, this is a common starting point. We begin with a technical audit to understand the code, infrastructure and risks, then agree a take-over plan. Response and resolution expectations are agreed in your support plan and depend on the severity of the issue and the level of cover you choose. Both are possible. A retainer suits systems that need continuous monitoring, regular updates and predictable response times. On-demand support suits stable systems that need occasional changes.
